Talk to the 'old folks'!

I've enjoyed talking to my parents (aged late 70's early 80's) about what they ate as children and young adults.  We've also talked about where they got thier food and how it was preserved and cooked.  Here's a link to a USDA report on food trends over the last 100 years. 

How about your family?   Find out and then prepare some menus that they remember!  No fair cheating with prepared foods :)  

I'll do one to drag out the old cookbooks and talk to my mother-in-law!
